Seamus Heaney: A Work of Public Art
Invitation to Tender for Public Art Commissioner
The Arts Council of Northern Ireland and the Arts Council of Ireland are seeking to appoint a Public Art Commissioner to deliver a commission which represents the island-wide artistic and civic contribution made by Seamus Heaney in his lifetime. It is proposed to have a dual commission of public art pieces that would celebrate the life and work of Seamus Heaney (1939 -2013).
Tenderers will be expected to demonstrate a range and variety of experience in relation to public art commissioning including demonstrated experience of delivering services of a similar size and nature to a high standard. Tenderers must have delivered a minimum of two projects of a similar scale.
Tenders are invited for this contract by way of a public tender process advertised via the eTenders procurement website www.etenders.gov.ie/publicartcommissioner. All tenders should be submitted (via the etenders post-box facility) by 12 noon, 21 February 2018.
