Art Collection

The Arts Council of Northern Ireland’s Contemporary Art Collection holds over 700 works by established and emerging visual artists working in Northern Ireland. Works from the Collection are loaned for exhibition.

We operate a free Art Lending Scheme for Schools in Northern Ireland, enabling participating schools to choose and exhibit works from the Contemporary Art Collection.

The Arts Council is keen to hear from schools that are interested in taking part in the Lending Scheme. We are also on hand to help advise and curate an exhibition for each school if required.

The Arts Council welcomes requests for loans from curators, galleries and a range of public venues.
