Freelance Fundraising and Development Consultant
DU Dance (NI)

DU Dance (NI) is inviting applications from experienced fundraising and development consultants to work with us during an important period of organisational development.

We are looking for a freelance consultant who can work strategically and practically; helping us identify and pursue new income, develop relationships with funders and partners, strengthen our approach to fundraising and establish systems and knowledge that will continue to benefit DU Dance (NI) beyond the consultancy period.

Fee: £350 per day

Time commitment: Equivalent to approximately one day per week, deployed flexibly across the contract period

Contract period: 1st November 2026 – 30th September 2027

Location: Belfast, with flexible and remote working by agreement

About the Organisation

DU Dance (NI) is a dance development organisation working across Northern Ireland with artists, communities and young people. For almost twenty years, we have used dance as a way to create connection; between people and places, across generations and communities, and between participation and artistic practice.

Our work ranges from sustained engagement programmes with communities in Belfast, Dungannon and Ballycastle to performances, festivals, commissions, artist collaborations and partnerships across Northern Ireland and beyond. We work with people who may not otherwise encounter dance, while creating opportunities for participants and artists to develop ambitious, high-quality creative work together.
