British Art Network
British Art Network offers support for seminars, workshops and discussions exploring practices, issues and ideas in the field of British art curating.
Seminar Support bursaries are offered each year, and are intended to foster new curatorial thinking and support networking and sharing in connection with British art of all periods and media. Events may take the form of academic gatherings, gallery-based activities, round-table discussions, screenings or workshops. You do not need to be a member of the British Art Network to apply for this support.
BAN in currently accepting applications for the 2024 round of Seminars. Applications are open for funding of up to £1,000 to support a developmental workshop, seminar or roundtable, to be held between March and September 2024. About the Organisation
The British Art Network (BAN) promotes curatorial research, practice and theory in the field of British art. Our members include curators, academics, artist-researchers, conservators, producers and programmers at all stages of their professional lives.
All are actively engaged in caring for, developing and presenting British art, whether in museums, galleries, heritage settings or art spaces, in published form or in educational settings, across the UK and beyond.
