Annual Funding Survey

All organisations in receipt of Annual Funding Programme (AFP) funding from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland are required to complete an annual survey as a condition of their funding.

The Annual Funding Survey (AFS) is to be completed, as a condition of grant, by all organisations in receipt of Annual Funding Programme (AFP) funding.

Findings are used to review the annual performance of your organisation in-line with targets set at the begining of the financial year and establish who benefits from your work. In addition, the information is used for advocacy purposes; to report to government; to support the work of funded organisations and assess the effectiveness of the Annual Funding Programme.

Annual Funding survey 2017/18

Recipients of Annual Funding Programme funding are required to complete the Annual Funding Survey to report activities delivered during the Financial Year 2017/18.

This year’s survey is being released in spreadsheet format and can be completed using Microsoft Excel or Apple MAC ‘Numbers software’.  You can navigate the survey using the tabs at either the top or bottom of the workbook, depending on the software being used.

Clients using Apple MAC software should convert it to Excel before submitting

The closing date for completed surveys was 4pm on Monday 30 April 2018.

Annual Funding Survey Findings 2016/17

The 2016/17 Annual Funding Survey was completed by 107 arts organisations in receipt of funding from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland under its Annual Funding Programme. Findings can be viewed below.

The data is displayed in an interactive dashboard, making it easier to analyse. Each of the four excel spreadsheets can be examined by selecting the desired criteria in the drop-down box at the top of the page.

Findings can also be viewed in other accessible formats below.
