Department for Communities
The Department for Communities (DFC) is a devolved Northern Ireland government department in the Northern Ireland Executive. DFC is responsible for urban regeneration, community and voluntary sector development, historic environment, social legislation, housing, social security benefits, pensions and child support, debt advice, public records, Employment Service, promoting equality, and development of arts and culture.
The National Lottery
The National Lottery is the state-franchised national lottery established in 1994 in the United Kingdom. To date, National Lottery players have helped to raise £52 billion for Good Causes, with more than 670,000 projects funded since 1994 . With hundreds of lottery grants in every postcode district and £32 million raised each week for Good Causes, most people will have benefited from a National Lottery-funded project.
