Belfast Telegraph supports the 13p For The Arts Campaign

The Arts Council of Northern Ireland is delighted with the editorial support in today's edition of the Belfast Telegraph (pg 21), one of our leading regional publications
We love how the Belfast Telegraph's editorial piece has referenced the impact that the arts make to life here for a small investment of public money. 'Just read the passionate words of James Nesbitt, currently one of the most in-demand actors in the UK, who began his professional career here funded by the Arts Council'. The arts are the cultural heartbeat of society according to Nesbitt and the Arts Council endorses that fully.
We are delighted that the editorial ends with a call to action "if you want to see a play in future, view new art, go to a concert or enjoy a community festival then tell Stormont not to cut the Arts Council's budget."
