Hosted by Belfast City Council in partnership with Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann will showcase traditional music, song, and dance alongside a diverse mix of multi-cultural performances and cross-community collaborations.

Belfast City Hall grounds will host the main stage, with a variety of city-centre and neighbourhood venues also holding concerts, workshops, and talks. The festival will include free live performances and ticketed events, which over 800,000 people are expected to enjoy.

Noirin McKinney, Director of Arts Development, Arts Council of Northern Ireland, said: “Arts Council NI is thrilled to see the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann coming to Belfast this summer. This is an incredible opportunity for Northern Ireland to showcase its talent, culture and diversity, while welcoming a host of visitors and award-winning artists. I’d encourage everyone to join in the celebrations, including the free family activities, the professional performances, or volunteering opportunities.”

As part of Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, Belfast 2026, Ludo Dao CIC invites musicians across the island of Ireland to take part in a unique intercultural programme. More information here: www.ludodao.org
